This is a writing exercise using an interview form. The teacher Keith wrote a question and Bob the student answered them. It was even more useful when Bob was making up the story. At least I think he was.

Bob's Last Day In Public School

Keith: Bob I hear you were a good student. When and why did the teacher run you off?
Bob:becouse i spilt the milk when i was in the sixth grade.
Keith: I bet you did more than that Bob. Tell the whole story.
Bob:well we were not getting along to good anyway the techer wanted me to be quite one day and i cante be quiet and think at the same time i must resite what i am thinking aloud.
Keith:What did the other kids think?
Bob:they thought i shoud be quite.
Keith:Where was this school and what year did you hit the road.
Bob: roundstone the school the year was 1963.
Keith: Did you beg to go back to school and if NO. why not?
Bob:i did not beg to go back becouse i was afraid they would be trouble again.
Keith: Where would you be today if you had gone back to school for another six years?
Bob: in the whitehouse as president.
Keith: I bet we would be better off with Elliott than Bush. What do you think?
Bob:of course
Keith: What would Elliot do different?
Bob:call the service people home from every where.

Bob's medical Report

Keith:How are you feeling today Bob?
Bob:i feel fine today
Keith: How many pills do you take each day and why do you take them?
Bob: i think i counted thim a whileback and i counted about fifteen a day from ten pill bottles. dotocers saY I AM SICK. i am sick in the head.
Keith; If you are just sick in the head why do you take blood pills and cholesterol pills?
BOB: i was told by doctors i had hi blood presher i have had seasuers which acounts for the Dilantin.
KEITH: How do you keep track of all your pills?
BOB:well by takeing the most of them at bedtime i can do verry well.
Keith: Bob how do you feel after all of these questions?
BOB: i feel fine just talking about them.
Keith: Do you have good doctors?
BOB:i like them pretty good.
Summary: Bob it sounds like the pills are doing you some good and you feel fine. I hope they keep you in good shape.
BOB: I hope so too.
BOB: i feel fine but who cares for me? As Don Gibson said in his song.

Life stories

KG:Tell me how your life started Bob
Bob: I was born into moonshiners. I can drink a quart a day and not even stagger. Heck i can't even move.
KG. Bob I asked you to tell your life story.. Is this really you?
Bob:yes
KG: When and where were you born?
Bob:on may the twenty ninth 1948 in berea hospitle. I lived in roundstone on a farm.I made moonshine from whatever i could find. No money did i get from it.
KG: This sounds like a country song. I hope you are telling a tale. I bet you made lots of money.
Bob:Sorry but i had no experience at it.
KG: You said you were born into moonshiners did they teach you anything?
BOB: not much
KG: I think you Listen to too much country music. Your story sounds like a Johnny Bond song. You are telling a tale I bet you are a preacher's son.Am I right?
Bob:l think so. I think you are right.
KG; I still say you are telling stories from country songs. We could find the lyrics.
Bob: why? I told you the truth.
KG: I still don't believe it
